These small clay faces are hand-built studies of expression and form. Each piece varies slightly in gaze, mouth, and head angle, creating different feelings of presence. The elongated necks and visible hand marks show the making process. Together, the faces explore individuality and quiet emotion.

Carolina Rojas is a sculptor and ceramic artist whose work explores the intersection of form, texture, and narrative. Originally from Venezuela and now based in Western North Carolina, Rojas’ artistic practice draws inspiration from nature, personal memories, and cultural storytelling.
